The spoilers mangled the first part of this chapter. They made it sound like Imu stuck Loki to some ice magically and then Ragnir freed him, which actually would have made more sense. Instead he just got knocked in the general vicinity and then Ragnir happened to bounce over and conveniently hit an unrelated piece of ice, which was also the one piece of ice that was important to the story. Which is the mother of all coincidences. I'm so excited for the upcoming chapters. Luffy and Zoro with their fights. I am especially looking forward to a great Sanji chapter when he eventually unlocks CoC. Also Shuri being freed from the "Iceblock". The climax of Elbaf is near! Blackbeard seems most likely now from a dramaturical perspective. The World Government has been coming fully into focus now for two arcs in a row and Imu's being laid out for us piece by piece, while Blackbeard is still waiting in the wings with a hidden grand plan.
That said, I don't think Imu's going down in Elbaph. This is probably just an opportunity to make his and Luffy's conflict feel more meaningful later down the line. Before we learn in full what happened during the Void Century and the Government properly plays out their hand, Imu will likely stay on top.
