Air Jordan 5 College Basketball PEs

In the spirit of the March Madness, Jordan Brand has elected to bless the collegiate hoop programs that it sponsors with a special Air Jordan 5 PE. The basketball squads of Marquette University, Florida University, University of Oklahoma, University of North Carolina (Michael Jordan‘s alma mater), Georgetown University and the University of Michigan are all set to receive their own unique pairs, five of which have punched their ticket to “The Big Dance.” The uppers of each college-inspired iteration are treated with full leather material that is marked by all-over elephant print.

The silhouette’s signature netted regions that are placed on the mid-foot and the throats are left with a translucent complexion, and each of the eye stays are presented in a tonal manner to blend in with its upper build. Lace toggles are predominantly clear but come accented with push buttons that match up with each school’s accenting hue and the tongues swap out the traditional Jumpman insignia for the institution logos. Stacked below this are crisp white midsoles and icy blue outsoles, all of which come color-blocked with the forefoot spikes that are each drenched in the proper NCAA tones. These are all exclusive colorways and will see a retail release. Elsewhere in sneaker news, A Ma Maniére released its ‘Raised By Women’ Short Film ahead of its Air Jordan 3 collaboration launch.

Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 "Neutral Grey" Set to Release Next Year

Jordan Brand is set to retro the OG Air Jordan 1 “Neutral Grey” for the first time ever in 2021. Arriving in a true-to-the-original Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 makeup a silhouette with a higher, flatter, more traditional collar than the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG the “Neutral Grey” is a sneaker that’s seen an immense explosion of popularity over recent years thanks to Instagram archive pages and Dior‘s duo of Air Jordan 1 “Air Dior” collaborations.

Uppers are built from a crisp white leather, with the low-key gray suede that gives the model its name appearing on midfoot Swooshes and collars alike. More gray details are present on the collar flap’s ball-and-wings logo and the fabric tongue tag’s Nike hit. White midsoles and gray outsoles round off the look. Apart from the OG build, the “Neutral Grey” also comes with an old-school Air Jordan hangtag, featuring a memorable photo of Michael Jordan soaring for a slam dunk. Of note is that the “Neutral Grey” is only the third time the Hi ‘85 cut has been used: it debuted as part of January’s “New Beginnings” pack alongside an Air Ship, then returned on a “Varsity Red” model in February. A release is reportedly slated for the first quarter of 2021, and the MSRP is likely to be $200 USD, though both of these points have yet to be confirmed by Nike Inc. Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 "Olive" Collaboration

In 2018, it was quite clear that Travis Scott was on top of the world. Prior to the release of his Astroworld album, Scott was having success with Jumpman, whom he continues to have a collaborative relationship with. During the summer of that year, Scott dropped the Air Jordan 4 "Cactus Jack," which featured a Houston Oilers-inspired colorway that had the Cactus Jack branding to match.

This sneaker was an immediate hit as resale prices skyrocketed and demand remained constant. Since the release of that blue and red sneaker, there have been some samples to hit the internet, including the infamous purple friends and family model. Now, thanks to the Instagram user @wneloy, we have some detailed images of another Travis Scott Air Jordan 4 sample, this time in a gorgeous "Olive" color scheme. As you can see below, the shoe has a greenish-brown hue to it, as suede makes its way all throughout the upper. Just like on the original colorway, we have some nice Cactus Jack branding, which brings it all together. Unfortunately for all of the sneakerheads out there, these are simply a sample, so don't expect them to drop anytime soon. In the meantime, stay tuned for more updates from the sneaker world.

Air Jordan 1 High Zoom "Rage Green" Release Date Overview

Throughout the last 35 years, there have been some pretty interesting colorways of the Air Jordan 1. Not to mention, Jumpman has always sought to innovate the shoe and bring new technologies to the forefront. While many sneakerheads prefer the OG versions, there is no denying that there is a real desire for something new and unique on the market.

Over the last year, Jordan Brand has been trying to address this need with the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom. What makes this Air Jordan 1 different is the fact that it has Zoom technology in the midsole. This allows for a comfortable feel that sneakerheads certainly appreciate. There have been very few new Zoom High colorways as of late but next month, a "Rage Green" offering will be hitting the market.

As you can see from the image below, the shoe has a green toe box and side panels while the overlays are black and the Nike swoosh is silver. This particular colorway might just be one of the more unique AJ1s we have ever seen. As for the release date, you can expect these to drop on June 20th for $175 USD. Let us know in the comments below what you think and stay tuned for more sneaker coverage.
