Vans' Old Skool and Slip-On Sherpa Fleece Mule Collection Is Cozy Goals

It’s getting colder and Vans is coming cozy, as the SoCal imprint has introduced new takes on its iconic Old Skool and Slip-On silhouettes. The sherpa fleece mule collection combines Vans’ signature sneakers with qualities that are much appreciated as we step into fall and winter, adding a fluffy sherpa fleece lining to both pairs all while cutting the back off of them, turning them into mules that will be perfect to wear around the house during the COVID-19 pandemic, or around town as a cozy statement.

The Old Skool appears in black, green, and orange, with each sporting a thick white vulcanized sole unit complete with a waffle outsole. As per Vans’ signature aesthetic, a white leather Jazz Stripe adorns all three pairs, contrasting the suede base found on the Old Skool. Vans’ Slip-On is an already comfortable, easy-to-wear pair. Now, in mule form, it’s even better. Slip your foot right into a fully-lined inner and look down to find suede wrapping all over the upper. A small Vans tag hits the lateral mid-panel, while the same vulcanized sole unit in white with a black running stripe can be found at the bottom. All styles are finished with a Vans-branded license plate on the rear of the heel, with the Old Skool sporting its laces as a final touch of detail. Take a look at the Vans sherpa fleece mule collection in the lookbook above, and pick up all of the shoes from Vans’ website or stores now. Nike SB Dunk Low X Civilist Changes Color With Heat

Following numerous teasers, we now have our first full look at the Civilist‘s upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration. For its latest team-up with Nike, the Berlin-based name focused on a thermochromic finish for the dynamic design element. Coming with a standard full-black upper, when exposed to heat the shoe changes to reveal an infrared-inspired pattern. The multi-color heat map reveals the temperature spectrum and is accented by contrasting tonal stitching and distinct Swoosh midfoot branding.

Other branding elements come in the form of Civilist tabs, an infrared tongue tag and Nike embroidery at the rear. Rounding up the design of the shoes is a pure white midsole paired with a black rubber outsole and a set of replacement laces that continue the colors of the heat map. Take a first look at The Civilist Berlin x Nike SB Dunk Low below and expect the shoe to release sometime this August.

Presumed to be a relatively understated collaboration initially, the pair quickly subverted assumption with an all-over thermochromic finish. Fresh out of the box, the pair seems quite neutral with a full black upper and matching accents, but once exposed to heat, a vibrant heat map reminiscent pattern begins to appear. Dark reds, lighter greens, and blues display the entire temperature spectrum, each placed as if gradating from the heel to the toe box. Neutral-toned toolings, linings, and tongues arrive bereft of the focal treatment, though the latter does deliver color by way of a variety of laces as well as yellow-checked tongue patch. Grab an on-foot look at these here and expect to learn more about the launch soon as they’re expected to land later this month.

Air Jordan 1 High Zoom "Rage Green" Release Date Overview

Throughout the last 35 years, there have been some pretty interesting colorways of the Air Jordan 1. Not to mention, Jumpman has always sought to innovate the shoe and bring new technologies to the forefront. While many sneakerheads prefer the OG versions, there is no denying that there is a real desire for something new and unique on the market.

Over the last year, Jordan Brand has been trying to address this need with the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom. What makes this Air Jordan 1 different is the fact that it has Zoom technology in the midsole. This allows for a comfortable feel that sneakerheads certainly appreciate. There have been very few new Zoom High colorways as of late but next month, a "Rage Green" offering will be hitting the market.

As you can see from the image below, the shoe has a green toe box and side panels while the overlays are black and the Nike swoosh is silver. This particular colorway might just be one of the more unique AJ1s we have ever seen. As for the release date, you can expect these to drop on June 20th for $175 USD. Let us know in the comments below what you think and stay tuned for more sneaker coverage.
