Finally the brook flashback we have been waiting for! Really wasnt expecting it when we started elbaph, im still rooting for ussop to get his big moment besides when he talked down to imu-nko. Seeing brook doing the nika pose framed against the sun gave me goosebumps, and his younger self looks so good!
Elbaph is truly turning ibto the flashback arc! Cant wait to see more. Imu's fighting style is so fun, the god names and god weapons for special attacks have fun implications but also every attack he's done has been memorable to me, i love the poses and angles oda's used for him, but this week with the spinning sword of wrath: gram is my favorite imu attack so far besides the kick he gave sanji and the nemesis sword. My guess is whatever went down in this flashback and the deaths of the rumbar pirates combined into severe trauma for brook. That said trauma has impacted his combat abilities to a degree that he might be much stronger and more dangerous then he think he is, but is subconsciously doubting himself into weakening. The fact he managed to prime a slash on them with that long of a wait time is wild and something he in theory should still be able to do.
