What if brook was stronger during the time of the flashback? I remember there is a theory that people in one piece get weaker once their dreams are crushed, so i'm guessing this is one going to be quite the depressing flashback and it's going to end bad for brook. He'll join the rumble pirates but not even close to his peak, so we met an already weaker version of brooke.
Now the power up will be meeting the princess again, reigniting his former dream saving the princess or something like that and considering now his devil fruit he is going to be a lot stronger. Considered his slash took hours to take effect, he definitively seems stronger in the flashback which is crazy. We need a reason as to why he's delayed slashes stopped being a thing when he reincarnated and he decided experimenting with a ice for a bit. Maybe after going through the flashback his soul will 'remember' that he was better at fighting? Gotta be honest this was, in terms of swordsmanship, more impressive than pretty much anything else brook has shown so far. Like he does the "oh you are already dead" thing, but not to such a ridiculous degree.
