Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 Are Playable in the New Tesla Model S

CEO Of Space X Elon Musk asked fans on Twitter if they wanted to see The Witcher game available on Tesla (NASDAQGS:TSLA -2.14%) . With the newly refurbished Model S, fans might just see this dream become a reality. The latest Model S update boasts a 10-teraflop gaming computer that supposedly “enables in-car gaming on-par with today’s newest consoles.” Every Model S will also come with “wireless controller compatibility that allows gaming available from any seat.” The interior redesign is the Model S’s first major update since its 2012 debut. Similar to the Model 3 and Model Y, the center screen commands attention at 17-inches while rear-seat passengers get an 8-inch screen that offers the same gaming functions as the main screen.

 

With its main screen, Tesla promises “2200×1300 resolution, ultra-bright colors with exceptional responsiveness and left-right tilt”, further claiming that “the new center display is an ideal touchscreen for entertainment and gaming anywhere.” To ensure that passengers can enjoy Tesla not only for its automotive capabilities but as an alternative gaming den, the interior features includes three-zone climate control, heated and ventilated seats all around, and more sculpted rear seats, and a new fold-down armrest with cupholders. Its 22-speaker audio system, ambient lighting, and glass roof add to the comfortable gaming atmosphere inside the Model S. Though the interiors appear to steal the show, the refreshed Model S will see a new front bumper, new 19- and 21-inch wheel designs, and a tweaked rear diffuser. Matching the Model Y exterior trim, the Model S is finished in black, however, the white color palette is still the only no-cost option. According to recent tweets from Elon Musk, both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 will be available to play on Tesla. Those interested can check out the claims for themselves on Tesla Model S.

'The Witcher' Offers First Look at Main Characters in Season Two

Ahead of its highly-anticipated release for season two, Netflix has now offered fans a first look at the main characters for The Witcher, taking to Twitter to share new images as well as what seems to be a prophetic verse for each of them. As seen in the posts, Henry Cavill‘s Geralt of Rivia appears to be wearing a new set of more form-fitting armor, though also clad in black with his iconic pendant around his neck. Freya Allan’s Ciri can be seen picking up a sword, with her verse saying she’s “preparing to fight,” while Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer appears to be dealing with the aftermath of the Battle of Sodden, injured and distressed.

The official synopsis for the second season reads: “Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.” There’s currently no official release date for The Witcher season two on Netflix, so fans of the series should stay tuned for more updates to come. The Witcher: Blood Origin New Live-action Spinoff

The fantasy realm of The Witcher is about to get even bigger. Today, Netflix announced a six-part live-action spinoff of its massively popular series, one that delves into a very different time period. Called The Witcher: Blood Origin, the series will take place “1200 years before Geralt of Rivia” and explore a period when “the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged into one, and the first Witcher came to be.” It’s being helmed by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, showrunner on the main Witcher series, and screenwriter Declan de Barra.

It should be no surprise that Netflix is looking to capitalize on Geralt’s popularity. The first season of the show, which debuted last year, was the most popular in the streaming network’s history. Blood Origin also isn’t the first announced spinoff: in January, Netflix announced The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, an anime take on the franchise. There’s no word yet on when Blood Origin will debut. With Blood Origin being joined by The Witcher season 2 and an animated movie adventure starring Vesemir, it's clear that the world of The Witcher is only just getting started. If you haven't already, it might be time to start tossing coins at Netflix. The synopsis reads: "Set in an elven world 1200 years before the world of The Witcher, Blood Origin will tell a story lost to time - the origin of the very first Witcher, and the events that lead to the pivotal 'conjunction of the spheres,' when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one." Teasing Blood Origin's story, de Barra said, “A question has been burning in my mind ever since I first read The Witcher books - What was the Elven world really like before the cataclysmic arrival of the humans? I've always been fascinated by the rise and fall of civilizations, how science, discovery, and culture flourish right before that fall... The Witcher: Blood Origin will tell the tale of the Elven civilization before its fall, and most importantly reveal the forgotten history of the very first Witcher” Lauren Schmidt Hissrich added: “It’s an exciting challenge to explore and expand The Witcher universe created by [author] Andrzej Sapkowski, and we can’t wait to introduce fans to new characters and an original story that will enrich our magical, mythical world even more.” Sapkowski was also on hand to offer a quote on the series, saying: “It is exciting that the world of Witcher - as planned in the very beginning - is expanding. I hope it will bring more fans to the world of my books.”
