Family branches are usually spread out worldwide, this could be where brook's branch settled if he's hypothetically davy. Being found out that he happens to be a davy clan member especially if by candel if the theories of her being a holy knight become true, could've led to the world government and especially imu finding out and esperia's punishment was destruction, and they're gonna use shuri as the one carrying it out against her will but she would never know at the time due to memory suppression. Two birds with one stone.

Could make for an interesting plot twist if you ask me.
