All in all a fun backstory chapter; i like the king a lot. Kid brook looks way too similar to rock’s child on god valley, leuven looks too similar to rocks and candelle looks too similar to a god’s knight for that all to be a coincidence. It’s uncanny, all the more because every single one of these character reveals are in the same arc. Leuven likely already had a deeper reason to be initially drawn to brook beside him being an impoverished musical genius. And brook mentions a little brother in his song. Crazy if oda reveals brook and blackbeard to be siblings, would never have predicted that.

Candell looks the exact same as she did 10 years ago. Now this could be the case of one piece beautiful woman aging but i don’t think that’s the case here. I agree with what everyone is saying and that candell might be a god’s knight. But i think this might go deeper than that, what if candell is to imu what gunko is to imu now. Aka his personal nun and stuff. And when candell gave birth to shuri, this basically guarantees her to becoming the next nun whatever she liked it or not.

So imu probably possessed shuri to kill her father or maybe candell did herself and the people blamed it on shuri and then they left to the holy land. Maybe that happened or maybe candell is just a normal gods knight. Just a theory.
