The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece staff has confirmed that the manga will take a one-week hiatus in Weekly Shonen Jump due to Oda’s health. One Piece Chapter 1162, which was originally scheduled to appear in issue #45 of the magazine, will now be published in issue #46, releasing in Japan on October 14, 2025.
For international readers, One Piece Chapter 1162 will be available digitally on October 12, 2025, through VIZ Media and Manga Plus, where fans can read the latest chapters in English.
