Nike treated us to a new take on its Air Max 270, dubbed the Vistascape. Following on from the “Light Orewood Brown” pair comes the latest from the Swoosh, introducing a very classic ACG-esque colorway of “Black/Pink/Purple.” The Air Max 270 Vistacape features an upper comprising ripstop and smooth leather components that are intersected with webbing straps that run all around the shoe.
These webbing straps anchor down the eyestay placket and actually become the eyestays themselves, working their way onto the padded mesh tongue where you’ll find a bevy of speckled rope laces. Overall, the Vistascape adopts a hiking sneaker aesthetic which is complemented by its toggle lace lock, adjustable webbing side straps, and semi-translucent black-toned heel cage. The sole unit is fitted with AIR and React technology which ensures a comfortable, supportive and responsive wearing experience all day long, while a grippy outsole provides traction on more challenging terrains. The pair is rounded out by small finishing touches such as the pink mini Swoosh on the lateral rear-quarter, AIR branding on the tongue strap, and the React branding on the heel clip. Take a closer look at the Nike Air Max 270 Vistascape “Black/Pink/Purple” above, and purchase a pair for yourself from stockists such as Hanon now, where the sneaker retails for £150 GBP (approx. $198 USD).
