So many interesting details in this chapter, but 2 stand out. Love that brooke's shirt says "die", obviously lots of death/bones themes related to brooke this chapter. Is it implied that he had a little brother and parents who died of starvation? I was surprised i didn't see this mentioned or talked about, but it's done very subtly: i believe esperia might be one of the destinations to one of the four great bridges, tequila wolf, rum wolf, bourbon wolf, or vodka wolf, with my bet being rum wolf. 

 But if you look at 1183 when the guard is describing the mouron/moulon situation, the map shows the giant bridge going off into the seas. It's far too large to be a normal bridge. And, it's showed prominently twice in today's chapter, where brooke lives nearby. This could tie into candelle being a celestial dragons as well, and the bridge being the way they got to the island, and why leuven is eventually killed. An island would have to be closely tied to the world government for it to be a connecting point to one of the bridges, and i can see leuven standing up to them.
