Why do i feel like this is some kind of foreshadowing by oda? Wouldn't it be cool if imu was starting to infect the cover pages themselves and slowly takes them over as the final war arc develops. Well, the world government is probably gonna ruin his life in a couple of chapters. My guess is oda just wanted to throw in a little hint to that in the cover request. Brook’s death already hit hard, but picturing it with this context makes it sadder. And now he can't really die anymore. Dude is gonna be the immortal bard that sings world history throughout time. Brook is not immortal. He only gets a second life, not an eternal one.  That's how the fruit normally works based on records of it yes, but we can assume most people got back into their bodies instantly. Living a second life then makes sense, as you just live until you die again. But brook went back into his body after it already died.

My theory is that he accidentally discovered a loophole in the fruit and he is actually immortal, or if not immortal, he will have a much longer second life than the norm.
