Shanks and his crew stole the nika fruit which the 5 elders have been searching for , for centuries so that within itself puts even more a target on shank’s back and another reason why the 5 elders wouldn’t have a meeting with him.In the anime they never show “shanks” full face which I believe is what initially started a lot of the theories of shanks having a evil twin because it’s out of character for oda or even the animation studio to not show shanks full face to give us the viewer a 100% confirmation it is indeed shanks meeting with the 5 elders.
